Day Trips

The dive sites are located in the South and east of Phuket, and we reach them only by boat.

Dive sites between Phuket and Phi Phi are various: The wreck of the ferry King Cruiser (KC), Wall dive on Koh Doc Mai (KDM), for the passionate of shrimps, sea horses, nudibranches, frog fishes, the pinnacles of Shark Point (SP), and Anémonne Reef (AR) and them abundant marine-life and zebra sharks, the islands Koh Bida Nok (BNO) and Koh Bida Naï (BNA), to Phi Phi, rich in hard and soft corals and marine species which attract some white and black tip
sharks… and even Whale sharks on lucky days !

The Southern dive sites are perfect for both beginner and confirmed diver. Racha Yai (RY) and Racha Noi (RN) Islands offer quiet, shallow bays with beautiful corals reefs and sandy patches attracting numerous fishes. The confirmed divers will make their dive along the island, diving along hard coral reef slopes and flat bottom covered with white sand, amongst parrot fishes, trumpet, lion fishes, Titan trigger fishes, soldiers fishes, small school of barracudas, snappers, Surgeon fishes, nudibranches, turtle, octopus.....

Racha Yai (RY),offers two smalls wrecks, one fishing boat and one speed boat, lying at 20 meter deep, home of shrimps, moray eels, scorpion fishes, lion fishes, bat fishes... Sometimes, a zebra shark comes to rest in the tranquil bays of Racha Noi (RN)and mantas ray can be spotted on the south of the island.

You have the choice between the day trip aboard a classic diving boat either aboard a speedboat (only for Phi Phi) and you will dive two or three times.

The transfer by speedboat has the advantage to reduce the time of navigation, but do not offer the same comfort as the usual boats. Des Mini cruises or overnight in Phi Phi with 5 or 7 dives, are an alternative in the traditional diving day trip.

You'll discover the diversity of Andaman marine life with your Thai divemaster, who speaks English.

Each boat have his own touch of originality by offering services as fresh meals cooked on board, fresh pancakes or doughnuts as snacks, free soft drinks, espresso machine… So you diving day trip will be great fun and enjoyable.

Diving day trip Similan islands:

If you stay in Khao Lak, you can't miss the incredible dives in Similan Islands and the well-known Bon Island for its Manta Rays Cleaning Station (from mid December until mid April).

It's around these islands that one find the best Thailand dive sites: walls, boulders, corals garden, canyons, slopping reefs, and pinnacles… Soft and hard corals, and a multitude of marine species from macro life to pelagic are living here.

Except islands n°4 & 8, where you can find National Park Rangers Camp and visitors Bungalows, the others islands are uninhabited. The water is crystal and Visibility can reach 15 to 30 meters on mainly all the dive sites.

You can choose between 2 dives per day or mini cruise (overnight) from 2D/1N, longer stay is available if you wish.

Dives are either on Similan islands or Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, depending of the operators schedules. You're back to Khao Lak around 4pm.

For divers staying in Phuket, a early morning transfer to Tap-Lamu can be arranged.
