New White Manta

White Manta Liveaboard

MV White Manta is a 36 meters long, 7,5 meters wide boat, which can accomodate up to 24 divers. She was launched in April 2011 and is therefore brand new. She is owned by a Singapour tour leader who has more than 20 years’ experience in South China Sea.

This boat has been built by divers, for divers. Her twin 700hp Cummins engines allow you to reach diving sites fairly quickly.

She is one the few IMO certified boats cruising in Thailand. Fire-extinguishers, medical kit, oxygen, rescue kit, life jackets and 3x20m life boats are availbale on board.

Her navigational system includes Furuno GPS and Radar, Sounder, Plotter, SSB radio : SAR, EPIRP, satellite phone, etc...

White Manta will be sailing in Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock from November to end of March and in Layang Layang from April to mid-June.

MV White Manta has 12 En Suite Cabins:

• 4 Deluxe Cabins with a large double bed, large window and private bathroom.
• 3 Deluxe Twin beds Cabins with extra single bunk bed for family or friends, and private bathroom.
• 1 Deluxe Cabin with a large double bed, large window, extra single bunk bed for family or friends and private bathroom.

For budgets divers, there have Standard Cabins:

• 4 Standard Cabins with bunk beds and shared bathrooms on all decks.

All cabins have air-conditioning with individual control, large windows, mirror, storage space, towels, hot water showers (except for Standard Cabins). Our on-board crew will take care of your room cleaning while you will be diving.

The diving platform is huge and well laid-out, with two entry/exit ladders. We also have a fresh water shower and wash tank to rinse your cameras and dive computers.

Two dinghies (2x5,8m) are used for safe water entry and surface cover supervision. DIN, adaptors, 15 liters tank, Nitrox made with a membrane system are available on board.

On the upper deck is the large air-conditioned lounge, with sofas and a media center : a 42” plasma TV, DVD player with 500 movies instore.

Next to the lounge, the outdoor dining space where to contemplate surrounding islands while lying at anchor.

Meals, delicious Thai and European food, are served 3 times a day, buffet-style. Snacks, fruits, coffee and tea are available all day long.

Sodas, beers and wine are on top.

During surface interval you can relax on the 1000sq feet sun deck, on top of the upper deck. Massages are also available.

On-board crew is Thai and includes 14 members : Captain, mechanic, a chef and assistant, maids, seamen and a masseur.

Our European cruise leader speaks many languages and is assisted by 4 Thai and European guides. In each group of divers we have one guide for 4/5 divers max. so everyone can appreciate a relaxing dive.

This is a brand new boat, perfectly equipped, friendly and pleasant, with good value for money.
