The M/V Paisabatu II is a 25,5 X 5,3 meters wood boat, with a 210 HP motor. She was built in 2004 in Sulawesi, it's a comfortable boat for an easy life on board..

Hers electronics components of navigation are composed of a GPS, Sounders, as well as radar for navigations of night. The communication is insured by systems of radio VHF and satellite phone. Pharmacy, Oxygen and Medic first aid kit, life jackets, fire extinguishers are available on board.

 

She operates in Indonesia and offers differents cruises : Bunaken, Bangka Islands, Lembeh Strait and Sangihe Islands, archipelago of Toggai and Banggai Islands.

The Sulawesi cruise has two programs: North and Central

• North Sulawesi: Programs including Bunaken national park, Bangka islands and Lembeh strait, as well as Sangihe archipelago for the longer ones. The cruises last between 8 and 11 days, and the boat operates between March and June / October and December.

• Central Sulawesi: the remote Togian and Banggai islands (May to October – 8J/8N)


M/V Paisabatu II can accommodate 10 passengers under excellent conditions. She has 5 cabins on the lower deck, all with ensuite bathrooms and fan:

• 3 double bed cabins
• 2 twin bed cabin

On the upper deck, is the wheelhouse at the bow, followed by the crew cabins, galley and the outdoor dinning area.

The dinning area is shaded and you’ll enjoy mix Malaysian / Western dishes served as a buffet style.

The cruises last 8 days, or more. Both for Banggai and for Togian Luwuk is used as airport entry.

 

Departure point for the Togians is Pagimana harbour, located on the northern coast of the peninsula. Guests are taken there with operator’s cars. The road is asphalted and in good condition, so it takes just 1h30 to Pagimana. For the Banggai cruise guests will board the boat at the jetty of Maleo Cottage, just 2 kms from the airport.


The M/V Paisabatu II staff is indonesian: 1 captain, 2 deckhands, 1 engineer, 1 chef.

She cruises together with a 55 feet dive boat that carries the compressor and the diving equipment.

Three local dives guides and a western dive instructor are on board to care of you and show you the wonders of Sulawesi diving. There are all certified as PADI professionnals. The Tour Leader is Swiss and speaks French, English and German.

The daily schedule offers 3 to 4 dive per day depending on location, the 4th being a night dive. All dives are non decompression dives, computer profile. The average time for the dive is 60 to 70 minutes.

Airport taxes at Manado are not included: about 4US $ for domestic flights and 11 US$ for international flights
Alcohol drinks (large beer 4 US$). Alcohols and wines are very expensive in Indonesia and the choice is very limited. You are very welcome to bring your own bottle(s) on board if you wish
Soft drinks: Coca Cola, Sprite, 0.7 US$ / bottlees.
Dive equipment (130 US$ /week for full set )20€/day.
