Sandakan is also the departure point for many land excursions to discover wealth of Borneo: Sepilok, Labuk Bay

Lankayan is a small jewel for macro life lovers. The profusion of hard and soft corals attracts a lots of microscopic species as Mimic Octopus, ghost pipe fish, leaf fish, mandarin fish

Pelagic fauna is also found here: Yellow Tail Barracudas, sharks.

Lots of Turtles are also seen at every dive. Two wrecks are home for many variety of tropical fishes and are a change to reef dive.

To stay in Lankayan, it’s recommended to book far in advance, as it’s the unique resort of the island. Package includes air conditioned bungalow accommodation and meals, 3 boat dives per day.

The ideal stay is 6 days / 5 nights, but can be shorter, if you wish to combine with another diving destinations in Malaysia, like Sipadan, Mabul, Kapalai or Sangalaki & Derawan in Indonesia.
