M/Y Resolute (Former MY Vasco) is a 34,6 x 7m steel yacht, built in 1974, refurbished in 1994 and completely renovated in 2010 & 2019. She can accommodate up to 16 divers in 8 different cabins.
She’s been sailing in Phillipines since 1998. A forerunner of liveaboards on this destination, she is one of the oldest cruise ships to sail between Visayas and Sulu sea.
Her modern navigation equipment consists of a radar and Furuno depth sounder, 2 GPS, a sounder and a Navtex navigation system. Communication and security are provided by SSB and VHF radio system, she also has Sarsat distress beacons. Pharmacy, oxygen kit, emergency kit, liferafts, lifejackets and fire extinguishers are available on board.

Diving on Resolute Liveaboard…
The dive platform is large and functional, so everyone can enjoy their own space. Each diver has their own locker. Lockers are stored at the center of this huge space that serves as a camera corner, available for divers to prepare their photo and video equipment. A 1.5T crane is situated above the platform to moving the dinghies.
Compressors are located in the basement, to avoid as much noise as possible during inflation. Rinse tubs are available.
Tour leader, guides and staff are Filipinos. The comfort of the divers is put forward and diving teams of four or five divers maximum are organized, according to their level and experience. All guides are PADI affiliated.
Un Dinghy et deux grandes annexes en fibre de verre (8m & 6m avec moteurs de 40 & 75 CV) sont utilisés pour le transfert des plongeurs, inutile de vous dire que pour 16 plongeurs, plus les guides, cela reste plus que confortable.
A Dinghy and two large fiberglass boats (8m & 6m, with 75 HP engines) are used for the transfer of divers, needless to say that for 16 divers, plus guides, it is more than comfortable.
The diving staff is made of 4: 1 tour leader and 3 Filipino guides. They are multilingual and PADI professionals, trained in first aid. The ratio is 4/5 divers maximum per guide, so that everyone enjoys a remarkable dive. 15L tanks available on request.
M/Y Resolutes sails most of the year, between Cebu Cabilao and Oslob, from October to February and for the whole season in Tubbataha, from late March to early June in excellent comfort conditions.
She has 8 cabins with air conditioning ; 4 toilets and bathrooms with hot water are displayed between the cabins, all on the lower deck.
Living spaces, while old, are spacious. They are spread over 2 decks, and include a small air-conditioned lounge with a sea-life library, a bar, and a video and TV system. At the front, on the main deck, there is a lounge area to share drinks. The outdoor dining area is located on the upper deck.
Here are eight crew members: 1 captain, 1 engineer, 1 cabin attendant, 1 deck boys, one cook. The Dive staff is 1 Cruise director, 2 Local Philippino Divemaster.

CABINS DETAILS, Resolute have 8 Cabins in 2 types:
- 6 Double Cabins: : with double beds for couples, plus a bunk bed, that can serve as Twin, Double, or even Triple for families.
- 2 Twin Bunk Beds Cabins : On the main deck, with single bed, private bathroom.

The cabins, all located on the lower deck, have air conditioning. One bathroom is shared for 2 cabins, with hot water and storage
