As soon as you land in Manila on April 4 or 5th, you connect to a domestic flight to Dumaguete, arriving there around 6pm and checking in at your hotel by the sea.

During 6 days of diving, you will discover the underwater wonders of Dauin: 3 or 4 boat dives per day (except on day before departure) with a guide, looking for the strangest creatures, on internationally-known muck dive sites. A day at Apo Island and 2-night dives are also included in the program.

On April 12, you will be transferred by minibus to Sipalay for a night there..

Very early next morning, you will board a short CESNA flight to the Cagayancillo archipelago, with a magical view, the start of your pelagic stay. On the program, 7 days and 6 nights Glamping in the resort, far from everything, and 6 days of diving in the blue, on the walls and endless drop-offs of Cagayancillo, in the middle of Sulu Sea.

This archipelago of 31 islands is one of the most unknown archipelagos of the Philippines, because of its remoteness : it is located 120km west of Negros. The majority of these sand islands are uninhabited. They are flat, covered with bushes and palm trees, and are a little reminiscent of the Maldives. The climate is dry from December to April and slightly wetter from May to November.

*Possibility to book only the stay in Cagauyancillo.

From April 5 to 19, spend 15 dream days on unexplored sites, to observe big and small, the best of the Philippines is always offered to you exclusively by Asiaqua.com.

Your Dives In Dauin

The south of Negros has been a famous diving zone for years, especially being near Apo island, a pretty breathtaking coral site. Shortly after, divers discovered nearby dive sites on black sand (Muck Dives), all along the coast of Bacon in Zamboanguita, as well as a very interesting macro-fauna : many ghost fish, nudibranches and rare gastropods, a strong concentration of frog-fish, while crustaceans and cephalopods are not left behind: flamboyant, bobtail squid, harlequin shrimp, etc..

In short, as you guessed, this destination is made for Macro and bio lovers and of course for photographers. However, the island of Apo, just opposite, gives you the opportunity for coral dives, the destination is varied enough to please the greatest number.

The boats used are traditional Bancas. There is of course a first aid kit, and oxygen bottles available at the club. You will need to present your certifications and dive books

15L tank and Nitrox available on request

Your Dives in Cagayancillo :

The archipelago of Cagayancillo is located on the same underwater mountain as Tubbataha Reef.

As in its southern neighbour, Tubbataha, the seabed is made of coral gardens changing as you go down, which can go down to several hundred meters. In this region, there are more than 500 species of fish as well as 380 species of hard and soft corals. Beautiful encounters in perspective in the blue of these reefs that probe: white and black tip sharks, gray reef sharks, hammerhead sharks, tuna, mackerels, humphead parrots, lobsters in their caves and marine mammals such as dolphins, eagle rays, mobulas, mantas, guitar sharks, and if you are lucky, one or more whale sharks.

One of the fascinating points are the huge and countless gorgonians lining the walls exposed to currents.

You will discover they’re totally virgin spots where you will dive alone, our partner being the only diving club to offer this destination, except the LOB Seadoors.

The boat used is a traditional Banca. The transfer from the resort will be with a zodiac. There is a compressor on board and modern means of communication as well as full safety equipment, first aid kit and oxygen. Are available on the boat : snacks, fruit, water, coffee and tea, sodas. Alcoholic beverages are of course only available after the last dive.

You will have breakfast every morning on the boat on the way for the first dive. As the first one is usually deep, you will do 3 dives a day.

On the way back, an optional night dive is scheduled before dinner.

No Nitrox available in Cagayan

Handset Dauin & Cagayancillo :

Dauin:

The resort in Dauin is built in U-shape, around a beautiful swimming pool. The north wing is home to the Diving Center, the south wing hosts Beatriz Restaurant where you will have all your meals, from breakfast to dinner, with a varied menu that offers both western and Filipino or Chinese dishes.

It’s a family resort as we like them. Glenn, the instructor (PADI, SSI and CMAS), manages the resort on a daily basis, the atmosphere is very international.

Cagayancillo :

In Cagayancillo, accommodation and food are very simple and basic. You will be far from everything and therefore the choice is limited; the resort is a Glamping site consisting of very large tents, with fan but without air conditioning, hot water in the bathroom come from solar power, back to basics with style ……

As Cagayan is a little remote, meals are also simple, but prepared with local fresh and seasonal products, chosen every day at the market by the chef..

A barbecue party is organized teh last day the stay..

These stays are also possible à la carte, between January and June: contact us for availability and a personalized offer according to your wishes and your budget.
